Hagen Hackenberg is a qualified banking and real estate professional. He graduated in real estate management at the University of Freiburg German Real Estate Academy (DIA).

On completing his education, he first worked for the international consultancies CB Richard Ellis and Cushman & Wakefield in leasing, corporate services and investment before moving to the ownership side in 2003.

In 2005 Hagen Hackenberg became Head of Institutional Investment at Vivacon AG, taking over the development and expansion of the Portfolio Trading department where he was personally responsible for structuring and marketing complex portfolio transactions with over 30,000 residential units.

He spent the last 5 years before the formation of Hackenberg & Co. Real Estate Partners at GE Capital Real Estate as Head of Sales/Asset Management with responsibility for all transactions in Germany and the related sales promotion campaigns.

Hagen Hackenberg's professional career has given him highly developed interdisciplinary expertise, excellent contacts with the decision-makers in the real estate business and a proven track record with a transaction volume of over 2.5 billion Euros.
